After completing each step in the outline below you will share your work with me for feedback BEFORE proceeding to the next step.


Step I: UNPACKING the TEXT

 

  1. Read the amendment your selected silently and highlight words you donít know. Define those words in the space below.



  1. Read the Amendment out loud. Review the words you didnít know the first time. Read it a third time and highlight the key parts.

Step III: SOURCE LOCATION

  1. Search Facts on File* (LMC Database) in the Issues and Controversies section for a secondary source about the subject of your question. There are references books that are collected in the LMC that you also may use to locate this source.

    one should be a political cartoon, the other a written commentary.
